Alfa-Helicopter has sponsored the Children’s Foster Home in the Roman Catholic Parish of Žichlínek since 2003, when our company helped build a new home for children and their foster mums and dads in Žichlínek. This project was realised thanks to the good faith and efforts of Dr Zbigniew Czendlik and the Charity’s Honorary Patron, Lucie Bílá. The building was successfully completed in 2005 and now houses two foster families. Our company continues to support this project as we believe in it - in the same way that we believe in the idea of foster care - as the best way of helping abandoned children.
"Thank you Alfa-Helicopter for your cooperation and show of faith and I wish you all the best for the future." Zbigniew Czendlik

AIRMED is one of the most important HEMS and Aeromedical Congresses and is closely associated with EHAC – the European HEMS and Air Ambulance Committee. EHAC was founded in Munich, February 2000 on the initiative of companies playing important roles in HEMS. The reason for its creation was the growing expansion of the European HEMS network and the emergence of helicopters as an important element in saving people’s lives. This reality highlighted the need for sharing experiences and exchanging information between experts from all over the world. The opportunity for expert meetings came about with the inauguration of the AIRMED Congress, with the aim of constantly improving the level and quality of services provided in HEMS.
AIRMED, the international HEMS congress, is held once every 3 to 4 years. Alfa-Helicopter was the Organiser of AIRMED 2008 which was held in Prague on 20th – 23rd May 2008. The next AIRMED Congress will take place in Rome, Italy in 2014. www.airmed2011.com
